Repcutionwit was founded in 2020 by four parents and three audiobook producers who'd been searching unsuccessfully for a kids' audiobook platform that respected children, parents, and the work of audio production all at once. We built one — kid-safe, ad-free, professionally produced, with parental controls that work and curation that values quality over volume.
How we produce audio
Every audiobook on the platform is professionally produced — by us, or licensed and reproduced under direct relationships with major children's publishers. Bedtime stories are cast for evening voice and pace. Middle grade audio dramas are full-cast productions with original scores and sound design. We don't ship algorithmic AI narrations of children's books.
How we approach parental controls
Parental controls are real and functional — not theatre. Content age ratings are reviewed by our editorial team and a panel of child development consultants. Listening time limits, content filters by age and theme, and individual child profiles are baseline platform features. We don't track child listeners for advertising; we don't sell child data; we don't have an algorithm pushing content toward engagement maximization.
Who we serve
Families with children aged 3 through 14. Elementary and middle-school educators using audiobooks in classrooms. Bilingual families. Families who'd rather their children encounter professionally narrated literature than algorithmically-recommended YouTube content during long car trips and quiet afternoons.
